We have two things that we are excited to announce!
We just passed the 250 Toy Store milestone on ToyStoreGuide.com. The 250th store featured was The Basement Toys and Comics in Roanoke, VA.
The coolest part of passing the quarter millennium mark is that the last bunch of stores profiled have all been submitted to us from awesome viewers like you. The Basement was submitted to us by a customer of theirs named Frank who told us that he can easily spend three hours there.
Frank submitted The Basement and other stores to us through the really cool “SUBMIT” button on our website but you can feel free to reach out to us on any of our socials if that is easier for you. The most important thing is that you guys Keep ‘Em Coming!
Now on to some really exciting news…
We are super excited to announce that Toy Store Guide has been invited to be a part of FerryCon 2021. The Dobbs Ferry Public Library of Dobbs Ferry, NY will be holding the virtual event.
It looks to be a day full of panels featuring Authors, Artists, Screenings, Cosplay, and we are thankful that they chose to have us participate in the event.
The Toy Store Guide panel will be held from 2:30 to 3pm. Join me and panel host Anthony as we discuss the website as well as our love for collecting 90’s Action Figures. There will also be a special appearance by our friend Nick Bartley who hosts the show “Hunting Nostalgia”.
Before us, at 1pm, there is a panel scheduled titled “The Art of the Toy Hunt” where host Tim Deery will discuss toy hunting with Sentri The Mad Collector, O.G. Geek, and Seth Bayer from Marvelous Collectibles & Entertainment.
That seems like a panel I wouldn’t be likely to miss!
FerryCon 2021 will be held on Saturday the 24th from 10am-6pm. The virtual event will be held over Zoom, be sure to email DobRef@wlsmail.org to get the FerryCon 2021 Zoom link. We hope to see you there!!!
