Hunting for Nostalgia on Vacation

Hunting Nostalgia is Back from Vacation!

Season 4 of the television show, which airs on the Armstrong Nieghborhood Channel and on YouTube, started this week. This first episode has Nick Bartley and his sidekick visit a new toy show, and for the first time ever Elvira Taylor and Nick get to toy hunt and talk nostalgia TOGETHER!!

On his way home from vacation Nick was able check out Elvira’s favorite vintage toy store, Davey’s Toys in Longwood, FL!

Bartley was able to learn about the toy shop here on ToyStoreGuide.com where he could use the interactive map to find a store near him, check out Davey’s profile to see if it interested him, and click the address in their page to get directions! (Though this one was a layup since it was already Elvira’s favorite shop)

If that is not enough action for one episode… Nick also takes a trip to Saxonburg, PA to check out the “All About Toys” toy show!

He also brings back special guest host Lucas who teaches Nick what exactly “VINTAGE” means….

…Old and Creepy.

Sit back and get your daily dose of Nostalgia on the Season 4 Premiere!

Watch Hunting Nostalgia Season 4 Episode 1

This episode has a special start with Nick meeting up with Elvira on her home turf in Florida. For the duos first ever time together on camera they met up at Davey’s Toys. Davey’s Toys is only about a half hour away from Disney World. It’s the perfect place to stop in after visiting the “Big Mouse“. It is not the only toy shop close to Disney featured on our site. Echo Base Collectibles is in Orlando. The two shops serve as a great way to toy hunt while on vacation.

VINTAGE, ANTIQUE, NEW, A BIT OF EVERYTHING CAN BE FOUND AT DAVEY’S…
Davey’s Toys has New & Rescued Vintage Toys, Kids Toys, Board Games, Video Games, LP’s & Collectibles. All your favorites are there, from Die-cast cars, to Star Wars, and a great section of Barbies and Disney Princesses!

While in Davey’s Toys, Elvira and Nick talked about how they feel the toys of the 90’s are not yet “vintage” and begin to realize they might be “vintage” themselves…

I don’t feel vintage!
