Some people get Duncan’s Toy Chest confused with another Famous New York City toy store, FAO Schwarz. While others swear that the building looks a lot like Chicago’s Rookery Building. Many people know about Duncan’s from a 1992 documentary about a botched robbery of the store by the infamous “Sticky Bandits” (formally known as the “Wet Bandits”).
