What Are You Watching?: Season 7 of “A Toy Store Near You”

The Nacelle Company is giving us something to be thankful for by releasing season seven of “A Toy Store Near You”. Premiering November 26th on Amazon Prime Video and other streaming services.

Just in time for the holiday shopping season comes 5 NEW EPISODES of highlighting toy stores from around the country and of course one from Japan.

“The stories that live in these toy store walls and within the toys themselves are tales that deserve to be told” said Nacelle Founder and CEO, Brian Volk-Weiss. As hard as we at Toy Store Guide attempt to showcase toy stores we can’t shine the same light that Volk-Weiss and company can with a produced television show. “A Toy Store Near You” is second only to actually visiting the store in person.

UPDATE: Something to be even more Thankful For: The good people at the Nacelle Company have heard the feedback from everyone and decided to premiere Season 7 on YouTube. Usually seasons are only available on paid streaming services at first then move to YouTube a few months later.

Watching this and all the prior episodes is a great reminder to shop small this holiday season. As many small businesses will often echo, “The big companies won’t notice your purchase over the next couple of months. But small businesses will, and it might even change their life.”

“The best part about making this series is learning about the incredible people preserving nostalgia for our generation and the generations to come.”

 – Brian Volk-Weiss
Nacelle Founder and CEO

What Guy Fieri does with Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives does for local eateries, Volk-Weiss and crew do for local toy stores. Giving family owned toy stores a 30 minute world wide advertisement with reach otherwise impossible. The Nacelle Company highlights what makes these stores special and unique at the same time expanding the toy collecting culture and sharing information about cool toy lines.

Season seven brings the total number of Toy Stores covered in the show to 35. This I am sure has helped these specific stores tremendously, but the ripple effect has helped all toy stores. A rising tide lifts all boats scenario, maybe a viewer can’t visit one of the stores featured but hopefully (and most likely) there is another local independent toy store close by… That is where Toy Store Guide comes in to help.

So after the parade ends, maybe during halftime of football, check out the latest season of “A Toy Store Near You”. All prior seasons are now available on YouTube. This should hold us over while Nacelle works on seasons 4 & 5 of “The Toys That Made Us”.
